The Tomah Parks and Recreation Department is proud to offer a wide variety of parks with many different features including open air and enclosed shelters. Take some time to view our parks below to see what each has to offer.

**Please note that outdoor park bathrooms are open May 1 - November 1.

Buckley Park (Aquatic Center)

Home of the Tomah Aquatic Center.

Exterior Area: Play area with slide & swings, viewing bench, and adjoining parking lot.

All Abilities park with accessible shelter, bathrooms, fishing pier and playground

Butts Park/North American Squirrel Association Inclusive Park

This beautiful park sits along the bank of Lake Tomah. A cooperative effort between the North American Squirrel Association and the City of Tomah Parks Department helped bring the first All Abilities Park to Tomah. Amenities for handicapped and elderly individuals include an accessible shelter, bathrooms, fishing pier, and playground.

Frank S. Andres Fireman’s Park

2 Open-air Picnic Pavilions, enclosed shelter, public restrooms, Skate Park, football fields, horseshoe pits, Born Learning Trail & playground area.

Walking trail connects park to Buckley Park (Aquatic Center)

Gillett Park

Little Red School House Museum, Maid of the Mist Fountain, Playground area, Picnic area and Gazebo.

Host to the Farmer’s Market & Americana Music in the Park each summer.

Bud's Ball Park

Softball diamond with lights, bleachers, score board and a playground area.

Grumann Park

Neighborhood Park (Located between Lake Tomah & Rec Park) with a Playground Area and Open Air Shelter.

Memorial Park

Veterans Memorial, Open-air picnic pavilion, public restrooms, playground equipment and picnic area.

Recreation Park-Burnstad's Adventure Playground

Burnstad's Adventure Playground was built in 2014. The playground is located within Recreation Park and boasts a farm theme. Located next to the playground is the Agventure Pavilion, an open-air barn with picnic tables. Recreation Park is also home to the Budweiser Dairyland National Truck and Tractor Pull.

Veteran’s Park

Open-air picnic pavilion, concession stand, public restrooms, playground area,nature trail, multiple soccer fields, picnic area and a fenced Dog Park (entrance off Glendale Ave.).

Waterman Park

Neighborhood Park (between Veteran’s Park & N. Glendale Park) with a Playground Area & Open Air Shelter.

Winnebago Wonderland, music park, pavilions, shelter, pier, boat and kayak launches

Winnebago Park

Located along Lake Tomah off of Butts Avenue at Helen and Brandon Streets.

This large park features Winnebago Wonderland playground, 2 open-air picnic pavilions, an enclosed shelter with fireplace, public restrooms, little league baseball diamond, handicap accessible fishing pier, volleyball courts, Wonder Hoops basketball court, fitness equipment, horseshoe pits, picnic area, walking trail and a double boat ramp for access to the lake.

New to the park are Rotary Plaza with an All-Inclusive Music Park, a kayak launch, new public restrooms and expanded parking space.

Winnebago Wonderland and Rotary Plaza - All-Inclusive Music Park

Located in Winnebago Park is a 10,000 sq. ft. wooden playground called Winnebago Wonderland. It is complete with castles, mazes, slides, tubes, swings (including a parent & tot swing) and many more kid friendly play areas.

A new addition to Winnebago Park is the Rotary Plaza with an All-Inclusive Music Park. The plaza is a handicap accessible area with picnic seating, public restrooms and the must-see/experience Music Park. Children of all ages will love the sounds they are able to create with the many instrument pieces.
