Winnebago Park IMPORTANT FOR VISITORS

Memo: Winnebago Park Construction Project Update
To: Media, Park Users, and Lake Users (Ice Fishing)
The Winnebago Park Project will continue through winter with the construction of a new public restroom. The new boat launch and parking areas are completed. Users can access them directly from Brandon St. A new lookout area will be completed with benches and a table in the early spring. The installation of the Tomah Rotary Music area and plaza will also be completed in the spring. The former double boat launch on the west shoreline has been removed.
For the new green space/parkland to develop we are asking patrons to do the following:
Park only on hard surfaces.
Ice shanties should go directly on the ice. (Please refrain from staging in the park)
Please stay off newly planted grass and west shoreline.
Thank you for your time and consideration in keeping Winnebago Park in the best shape we can this winter as we continue to navigate through the project.
Thank You,
Joe Protz
