Homebuyer Down Payment and/or Closing Cost Loan Program

Community Development Department can provide eligible low/moderate income households, who are purchasing a home in the City of Tomah, with a deferred payment loan to pay for closing costs and up to one-half of a required down payment to purchase a home. The maximum loan is 10% of purchase price.

Eligible closing costs include:

  • Loan Origination fees
  • Loan discount points
  • Appraisal costs
  • Credit Report
  • Title search & preparation charges
  • Transfer fees
  • Recording Costs
  • Surveyor charge
