School Resource Officer

The School Resource Officer position started in 2008 out of a strong relationship between the Tomah Police Department and the Tomah Area School District.  Officer Melanie Marshall is the current School Resource Officer.  Officer Marshall works Monday - Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and has an office at the Tomah High School, although she provides police services to all district schools.  During the summer, Officer Marshall assists Patrol Officers with calls for service with a regular patrol schedule.
